SoundHouse 1 – SatzMachine

2018 – SoundHouse 1 / Satzmachine in Landgoed Anningahof, Zwolle tijdens Beelden 2018
Er is een zichtbare relatie tussen het beeld en de zon, tussen kunst en natuur. Bij bewolkt weer beweegt het beeld niet. Met een beetje zon zal het langzaam werken en met meer zon zal de Satzmachine meerdere ritmes hoorbaar en zichtbaar maken. Deze installatie is de eerste in een serie van 3 Soundhouses, een serie werken geïnspireerd op de ideeën van de 17e-eeuwse filosoof Francis Bacon.

There is a visible relation between the sculpture and the sun, between art and nature. With cloudy weather the sculpture will not move. With a little sun it will work slowly and with more sun the Satzmachine will make several rhythms audible and visible. This installation is the first in a series of 3 Soundhouses, a series of works inspired by the ideas of the 17th century philosopher Francis Bacon.
