2019 – Pipe (Pictura Performance) Festival – In China wordt de megafoon overal en heel vaak gebruikt. Ik kocht er daar twee en nam ze mee naar Pictura.

Al flanerend door de soundscape van een Chinese stad ontmoeten we sferen, geluiden en indrukken, die ons misschien een nieuw inzicht kunnen geven waarom we hier zijn en wat we hier eigenlijk doen. Mijn idee is om dat te onderzoeken met een auditieve confrontatie, misschien wordt het een versmelting, een interactie, een participatie of een uitwisseling. Kortom een REFLECTIE van verschillende werelden, gedachten of sferen.
Ik nodig u uit om de megafoon achter de eerste tafel te pakken en iets te vertellen. (Voor het technische deel zal ik u bijstaan).
En iemand achter de andere tafel kan antwoord geven of gewoon iets nieuws zeggen (Ook u kan ik technisch bijstand verlenen).

Strolling through the soundscape of a Chinese city, we encounter atmospheres, sounds and impressions, which may give us a new insight into why we are here and what we actually do here. My idea is to investigate this with an auditory confrontation, perhaps it will be a fusion, an interaction, a participation or an exchange. In short, a REFLECTION of different worlds, thoughts or atmospheres.
