2020 – Het ging in mijn eerdere project over de filosoof Francis Bacon [1561 -1626] en zijn ideeën over Soundhouses. Als ‘ultiem movement’ vatte ik de gedachte op om, na de realisatie van materieel werk, ook digitaal het thema rondom Soundhouse verder uit te diepen. Vooral gebaseerd op de relatie geluid en tijd.
Ik heb een etmaal in 24 knoppen gezet, waarachter iedere knop een kunstenaar werk heeft ingeleverd. De opdracht was om audio te registreren wat ook werkelijk op die tijd werd gemaakt. Soundhouse.org is een platform voor geluidskunst. In het voorjaar van 2020 hebben 24 artiesten geluiden opgenomen uit hun dagelijkse werk en leven. 2020 – My earlier project was about the philosopher Francis Bacon [1561 -1626] and his ideas about Soundhouses. As “ultimate movement” I conceived the idea of, after the realization of material work, to further explore the theme surrounding Soundhouse digitally. Mainly based on the relationship between sound and time.
All day long I put in 24 buttons, behind which each button an artist submitted work. The assignment was to record audio that was actually made at that time.
Soundhouse.org is a platform for sound art. In the spring of 2020, 24 artists recorded sounds made in their daily work and life. On this website you will find every hour filled in by another artist. Listen to this daily report and give your comments here in the Soundhouse FB group.
